A variety of trekking courses are available in the Shirakami-Sanchi area—ranging from routes suitable for beginners to those designed for intermediate and advanced hikers, as well as guided tours—allowing visitors of all skill levels to easily experience the magnificent nature of the region.

Time required: Short loop (approx. 1 km): 15–20 minutes
Long loop (approx. 2.2 km): 60–90 minutes

This walking trail, located within the World Natural Heritage site, offers an easy way to experience the magnificent nature of the Shirakami-Sanchi mountains.
The soft, springy leaf mold underfoot is formed from layers of beech leaves that have accumulated over many years.

Duration: Anmon 3rd Waterfall – Approx. 2.1 km round trip, ~90 minutes
Anmon 2nd Waterfall – Approx. 2.5 km round trip, ~120 minutes

Hike up the trail along the mountain stream, visiting the 3rd Waterfall followed by the 2nd Waterfall. Surrounded by rugged rock faces, you will feel the swirling mist gently envelop you.
*Submission of a "Trailhead Entry Form" is required (please submit it at the Donation Collection Point).
*Please wear a helmet due to the risk of falling rocks (helmets are available for rent for 100 yen at the donation box).

This course descends from Tsugaru Pass, via Mt. Takakuramori, to "Aqua Green Village ANMON." Along the way, the trail follows the edge of the World Heritage Site (buffer zone) and features a giant tree with a trunk circumference of 5 meters, as well as a spot offering a view of Mt. Iwaki.
To ensure a comfortable experience on the slopes, we will limit the number of lift tickets sold to 1,200 per day.
