A certified guide will lead you through the field around Lake Juniko.
Tsugaru Quasi-National Park "Juniko Lake" is located on the west side of Shirakami-Sanchi. It has been protected since ancient times as a natural recreational forest and a health and security forest, so it has a miraculously rich natural landscape that is still preserved in Japan. Looking down from the middle of Kuzureyama, you can see 12 ponds, which is why it is called Juniko Lake. In fact, there are 33 named ponds. Although there is a winter closure, you can freely visit and walk around the lake from April to November. Among the Juniko Lakes, "Aoike" is particularly famous, and its vivid blue color depending on the light entering it captivates visitors.
